N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine

An acetylated derivative of the amino acid L-tyrosine. It is an a biochemical precursor in the synthesis of the neurotransmitters epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine which increases alertness, focus and concentration. It also reduce blood pressure during times of stress.

L-Taurine

Taurine is a trophic factor in CNS development. It is involved in several physiological actions in the brain, including neuroprotection, osmoregulation and neurotransmission. It has been shown to significantly increase cell viability inhibited by stimulant use and reduces apoptosis (cell death) via the mTOR signaling pathway.

Mucuna Pruriens

Containing an alkaloid which is a precursor to the neurotransmitter dopamin, it stimulates the hypothalamus and pituitary to release and increases the level of hypothalamic growth hormone-releasing hormone. Dopamine regulates the immune function which is vital as excessive ingestion of stimulants reduces the body’s immunity via production of cortico-adrenal insufficiency. L-DOPA also protects against dopamine neuronal cell death and increased the number and branching of neurite processes.

Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate

AAKG may bind to ammonia in in muscle cells, converting ammonia into glutamic acid, eliminating the toxin ammonia from the body. Those who participate in an active fitness lifestyle usually consume a high protein diet, which increases the production of ammonia, a toxin that can reduce athletic performance dramatically.

Trimethylglycine (TMG)

Also known as Betaine Anhydrous, it supports cardiovascular function by lowering homocysteine levels. It does this by donating its methyl group to a molecule of homocysteine, converting it to the  non-toxic amino acid, methionine and then into S-adenosyl-methionine (SAMe). This increase in SAMe however was the primary inclusion of TMG in Turbo due to it being a nonspecific antidepressant. This may help to inhibit the depressive state many encounter when taking potent stimulants.

D-Aspartic Acid

DAA as it’s more commonly referred as, is one of the most proven natural testosterone boosting ingredients. While that benefit is a fantastic quality to have, it is not it’s intention of use here. Macrophages are a type of white blood cell that ingest and destroy bacteria. They also clear cellular debris such as dead cells that contain microbes, such as bacteria or viruses.
